My Philosophy
“Move, listen & notice’. . .
‘Natural ways to heal; to bring calm and joy.”
My Life Philosophy
I believe that the body witnesses our life, and therefore like the mind, it holds and stores our life experiences.
Through movement and specific sounds (including silence), we can support the body to release, rebalance and reach a higher vibrational level.
‘The soul has been given its own ears to hear things the mind does not understand’ - Rumi.
We are all vibrations and we are constantly responding to the sounds around us.
We do not yet understand the potential of our own body and science is only starting to verify what many ancient traditions have long been saying. Alternative healing practices have more than we know to offer and they go alongside with western medicine.
Developing our own inner awareness and spending time connected with the body, and in reflection, supports us to live a live more to our own choosing. By developing our connection to our inner landscape we can further faciliitate the body’s wisdom, intuition and healing.
‘Sound is a way to tune in or tune out. It is a way to connect to yourself and others, not only around joy and happiness, but around pain and suffering.’
- Sara Auster | Sound Bath – Meditate, Heal and Connect through Listening
My Yogic Philosophy
Practising yoga helps us to be more connected, closely related and understanding of our physical body.
Through yoga we discover our own inner landscape and this awareness helps us be more conscious of the way we relate to ourselves and the others in the world.
Practising yoga gives us tools which we can use during our daily life. Practising yoga helps us develop love in our heart that we can then take out into the world.
"If we want to change the world, we must first start with ourselves.' Gandhi.
We are so lucky to have life within our physical body and we must make all efforts to a live a life that is meaningful, joyful and of value to ourselves.
Our own life is a miracle!
“Music is the most miraculous vehicle for opening the heart.”
- Ram Dass | Spiritual Teacher & Author
